Roswell Remembers
Memorial Day was quite special in Roswell this year on Monday May 28th. Since it's inception in 1997, Roswell Remembers now draws six to seven thousand people annually to the City Hall grounds in a non-political, non-commercial ceremony honoring veterans and the sacrifices they made in protecting our freedom. Moby in the Morning was emcee, Major General David R. Bockel was the guest speaker, Mayor Jere Wood spoke, the Atlanta Wind Symphony and the North Atlanta Pipes and Drums played. P.A.L. was there to assist people with writing letters of encouragement to active and wounded soldiers and much more. For more information about the ceremony go to roswellmemorialday.com or call 770-640-3253
